AMD's graphics cards and chips are among the best-of-the-best in the gaming world. This packaging family is for a new series of graphics cards (GPUs): Radeon RX 6000. These GPUs achieve vast improvement in "ray tracing" capability and "high-fidelity graphics."

How do you develop a premium unboxing experience that is also as sustainable as possible?
When buying a product, packaging is becoming increasingly important. Unboxing experiences are hot and have become an essential part of the product experience. Additionally, online product launches and unboxing videos from your favorite Youtuber are becoming increasingly important.
How do you develop a premium unboxing experience that is also as sustainable as possible?
To create a true experience, the use of non-sustainable materials is obvious. But in this project, we challenged ourselves to push the boundaries of what is possible with sustainable cardboard. All the complex and structurally strong parts of the packaging are made in an origami-like manner, highlighting the details of the graphics card. The result is a family of 5 SKUs, each with a different price tag.

The solution
This packaging takes the consumer on a journey from purchase to unveiling the card. Layer by layer, the packaging creates engagement and showcases the graphics superpower of the GPU. Each step in opening the packaging reveals high-quality visualizations developed by REGGS. Thus, a new aspect of the design and its unique features unfolds each time.
The solution
By using special printing techniques, we add additional layering and reflections to the packaging, referring to the ray tracing capabilities of the GPU. An important element to the design was to replace the classic antistatic bag, which previously hid the graphics card. By using antistatic foam, we proudly present the GPU's unique design.
