Create a
festive brand
Our client, Dirk van den Broek, is the smart supermarket for savvy shoppers. They asked us to create a festive brand for all occasions. Not just for Christmas and New Year, but for Easter, Valentine’s Day, and other moments worth celebrating. The ambition was to develop a brand name, logo, and packaging concept that’s innovative, instantly recognisable, and capable of spanning both fresh and grocery products in a limited-edition assortment.
The goal? To compete with specialty stores during the holidays by offering luxurious, high-quality products at an affordable price. Making “pampering yourself” accessible to all.

Design that feels like home
The chosen name, “van 't Huijs” (meaning “from the house”), is both inviting and evocative, rooted in the warmth of home. To emphasise this, we designed a packaging concept that encapsulates celebration across all occasions.
Central to the design is a table runner, symbolising the joy of gathering around a shared table. This versatile element connects the product to the festive atmosphere while ensuring a cohesive look across the range. A warm and cosy colour palette complements all seasons, enhanced with elegant gold accents that exude quality and highlight the celebratory feel.

Thanks to our close collaboration with the Private Label team at Dirk van den Broek, we've created a festive product range that shines year-round. It's a collection we’re all proud to see on the shelves, offering both recognisable charm and consistent quality.
