Alpine provides hearing protection for a diverse audience, from construction workers to musicians. Known for its innovation and trendy designs, the brand is committed to making a meaningful impact on both people and the environment.
For the packaging design, REGGS focused on both the interior and exterior of the pack, ensuring every detail reflects Alpine’s vision.


We transformed Alpine’s packaging into a statement of purpose and innovation. The design features an iconic illustrated ear, with the earplug cleverly integrated within it, instantly communicating its function. Sound waves radiating to and from the ear amplify the message of protection and effectiveness.
To minimise environmental impact, we replaced plastic inlays with a single, intelligently engineered Paperfoam® insert. This change reduced plastic usage by 98%, all while keeping the product visible. Striking the perfect balance between sustainability and design.
Beyond the packaging, we also designed functional and stylish storage cases for Alpine’s range of products. These cases enrich the user experience, adding long-term value to this essential ear protection.
THE CHALLENGE
Impact on the shelf not on the environment
Tasked by Alpine to create packaging that delivers maximum shelf impact while reducing environmental impact, REGGS set out to redefine their new packaging line.
The process kicked off with benchmark research, shelf analysis, and a strategic session to establish clear principles for the design. From there, our graphic designers, industrial designers, and engineers worked closely together to bring this vision to life.
