Meet Danielle Bolmers, Project manager

Tell me something about yourself
I am Danielle Bolmers, Project Manager at REGGS. I studied commercial communication management and started my career as a real estate consultant. I wanted to do something more creative but unfortunately I’m not a creative wizard myself. That’s how I ended up as a project manager for design agencies. I get to oversee and guide creative projects and every project is different. It’s such a great feeling when you spot the projects you worked on in a supermarket or advertisement.

What do you like to do in your free time?
I like to grab a drink with friends, in summers you will find me at festivals and in winters snowboarding. I love travelling, so every year I try to go on a longer trip.

What do you get out of bed for?
That’s a tough one, but you can definitely wake me up for a travel adventure!

What do you take everywhere with you?
I think I’m pretty old-school in a way because I don’t go anywhere without my paper notebook.

Which customer do you hope to work for?
I would love to work on a project for Rituals someday because every detail matches their brand identity. From packaging and product, to store; everything looks gorgeous and luxurious yet affordable. It’s a brand that isn’t afraid of innovation and it must be so fun to help them with the development of shape and design of a product line.

What are you most proud of in business terms
I’m most proud that I wasn’t afraid to make a career switch and start from scratch again. It’s often a lot easier to stay in your comfortzone than switching careers and the industry you work in. I am so happy I did though, I really found a job that I love and is exactly what I’m about.

Tell us something we probably don’t know about you
I have three; Apparently I have an entertaining fear of spiders, so don’t be surprised if you suddenly hear an impressive scream. I am aiming to get my motor licence in the nearby future. And last but not least, ever since I got a taste of surfing in Panama, I am hoping to become an excellent surfer.
